What's new?

5/25/99 - Added a better search tool to the site. Sorry about a slow down in the revisions, but life has sneaked up and whacked all of us upside the head lately.....

3/4/99 - Overhauling the HTML code and trying to clean up broken links. Also, we've been moving some of the new images into stub files, such as the FL-200 fighter, Gull and Swan

2/3/99 - Added the Thuverl Dalem file, the precursor to the Thuverl Salan Cruiser. Also, revisions to the Frandlar Tivulo re-entry pod, Tirolian assault corvette (carrier), and the Invid Mobile Hive ship.

12/17/98 - Revised Zentraedi ships are now up for review. Some minor tweaks to the Southern Cross ships have also been done. The update is mostly improved images, although one of the Battles was redesignated as REF from ASC based on footage from SDC:SC.

8/27/98 - Introduction of the reorganization of the site to the 'Robotech Reference Guide'. The Tech Files will remain, but we felt a name change was necessary due to the large number of planned essays and fictional material at the site.
We also have a new mirror site: tony-net mirror activated due to poor performance of Neocerf mirror.
Tirolian Border fleet naval vessels updated. Bumblebee draft reasonably stable, including the addition of the Rattlesnake missile for its armament. All in all the updates to the Terran naval vessels are essentially complete, although minor tweaks may occur as we get to the other files.

3/27/98 - Rob stopped bugging Pieter with other possibilities long enough for Pieter to finish rewriting the ASC naval files. Check out the revised versions as well as the new Ajax Landing Ship. Look for upcoming pictures of new ASC weapons pulled from the animation. Also, Rob plans on working on the ASC battloids while Pieter continues overhauling the naval files.

3/4/98 - Finished validating all the links and cleaning things up. We're currently working on the SC naval vessels. There is also a new stub file for a Zentraedi Refueling Tanker seen in a few frames in Breetai's hold in Episode 9.

1/2/98 - The conversion to the new format is finally complete (albeit we still to do a final link verification to clean up Rob's booboo's during his long hours of editing. Next up is getting Pieter latest revisions up. Look for upcoming revisions to the ARMD platforms, Oberth, and Warspite. We also plan on trying to firm up a number of the draft entries.

11/28/97 - The Missiles and Vehicles sections have been converted to the new format. Also, some additional missiles and torpedoes have been added to fill out the arsenal. Some new vehicle pictures have been added to some of the files under development.

11/24/97 - The Mecha files have been mostly reformatted.
We've also added some pictures for some previously unspecified Tirolian drones. Files to be added when we get to that section in the revisions.

11/14/97 - We are undergoing a major revision to the appearance of the Tech Files. We are breaking up the masterfiles into single entries per file to expedite downloading. We are also giving the files a facelift and incorporating a number of new graphics we've acquired. Please bear with us, while we are converting the files over. During the conversion, a number of the links will be inoperative until the new files are brought on line. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Naval Files are undergoing extensive revision. We've mostly finished the Southern Cross and REF ships, although we occasionally wind up going back and tweaking here and there...
The Missile files have had graphics acquired for most of the missiles. Take a look!

10/7/97 - Well, we've restarted our overhaul of the files after taking a little break over the summer for Peter to finish his thesis (Yeah!) and for the rest of us to have a much needed vacation. Missile graphics have been added as we've had time to acquire them. Also the RDF vehicle draft has had additional graphics added and more draft information provided, such as the MLSAMS-1 erectable missile launcher. Additional graphics have been added for the Southern Cross naval vessels. Also, joined the Robotech WebRing.

7/7/97 - Look for new Technical files on the missiles of the Robotech mecha. The text is up with some images. More are to follow as we find time. The links page has recently been updated. Look for the new images of the Southern Cross Battloids. In addition, the following files have been rewritten, and are nearing a final state:

In addition, a newer draft of our RDF Vehicle files had been added.

What's in the works? The revisions will move onto the RDF naval vessels and then on to the Alien ships. After that we plan to deal with the ground mecha, starting with entries for the Southern Cross mecha.
As for the reformatting, next up are the Vehicles, followed by Missiles, Armor and Weapons, and lastly Essays.
New mecha and ship files, such as the Robotech Factory Satellite, and the cutter and PT boat from "Metamorphosis", the Invid inorganics and Red Guard; as we get to the various categories.
Essays are the next order of the day. We're going to finish up our essay on the Invid in Europe, and will produce new essays on the history of Earth's militaries (including notes on the uniforms), and on the Triumviroid clones and Zentraedi.
